weCARE Toolkit
Child sexual abuse hurts. The impact on a child can be devastating and last a lifetime. Millions of dollars are spent each year to resolve claims and address the impact of abuse. For schools, that money is taken right from the classroom.
CONNECTION
The weCARE program is a child sexual abuse prevention toolkit, developed through a collaborative partnership of K-12 public school pools, representing hundreds of school districts and county offices of education, and caring for over half a million children. Together, our goal is to educate K-12 schools on how to recognize, prevent and properly respond to child sexual abuse and, ultimately, to protect kids.

- Policy and procedure templates to help school administrators develop policies to protect students and staff. Contact NBSIA to receive these materials.

- Reporting poster for placement in and around school sites with guidelines on when and how to report suspicious behavior.
- Online educational videos developed through our prevention partner Praesidium. These videos are available through Vector Solutions for NBSIA PL Program Members (password required).

Public School Works is a staff compliance training management system to assist in ensuring all employees meet all state and federal mandates. These online trainings are available to NBSIA PL Members at no cost and will be replacing the Vector Solutions platform in July of 2026.

Greater Bay Area Child Abuse Prevention Council Coalition

Talk About Abuse to Liberate Kids
Non-profit organization with a core belief that child sexual abuse is predictable and preventable when we surround children with knowledgeable and outspoken adults. TAALK creates awareness, education, support and healing programs which are delivered through local TAALK Chapters and partner organizations.
